Dr. Seuss Day
Created by: María Eugenia Román. Dr. Seuss Day is celebrated annually on March 2nd to commemorate the author’s birthday. This event is not just to celebrate his birthday, but also to recognize the work and legacy of this German American author. His wacky stories, weird characters, and strange ideas are loved by both kids and adults, and remain popular to this day.
During the week of March 7-11, we encouraged our Primary Students to learn more about Dr. Seuss’ books and to wear something creative inspired on his characters on Thursday, March 10th. We recommend taking advantage of this opportunity to capture your children’s imagination, get them reading, and introduce them to Dr. Seuss’ world!
